You cannot have a good government with democracy. Democracy leads to people distrusting and rebelling against the government. The success so far is not due to democracy but due to the West supporting India, using her as a pawn against China. The West believes that democracy leads to success but the truth is success (may) lead to democracy. India is persuing the wrong thing at the wrong time.

India's greatest liability will be its so called 'democracy'. Look at Taiwan - a small island with its people separated into 'Green camp' and 'Blue camp' all because of democracy. People of different beliefs are beaten up all the time. India has so many people and colours I wonder how divided it will be. You wait until 2020 and see for yourself.

I don't defend Communism - I defend Confucianism which is almost the opposite of Communism. Confucianism promotes loyalty, honour and stresses the importance of respect for seniority. Democracy creates mistress between the people and the government and this distrust is translated to all areas of society - distrust between children and parents, distrust between students and teachers etc.

don't talk like a communist !! when you say children and adults, you got to be more specific. Percentage of illiteracy has come down in India in this decade, thanks to sustained rural education policy. Rural development needs investments,so, for that rest of india got grow at 8 to 10% and it is happening already. India will be among top 3 in 10 to 15 yrs, if you take GDP (nominal). So, instead of dicouraging someone who has created a video out of facts, you better do some research on india now

i agree with you kashsoldier, Growth always percolates to the lower level. The communists want to use a failed concept. It is clear that from what CPI has done to calcutta that they are not a govt that can rule. The only point that needs to be emphasized is Law & Order and Justice especially in Northern India (delhi, UP & Bihar...) But i am confident India will achieve that with patriots like you :)
