Why not? I respectfully disagree, because when somebody "samples" a song (& gives credit to the original artist) it gives new life to a song that otherwise doesn't get much play anymore. For example, my kids hear me play all my old 70s & 80s faves so they know most of them. When they heard "All Summer Long" they knew it was from "Werewolves Of London". I think it's great to breathe new life into an old song & introduce it to a new audience.
