Anybody who thinks ... ( 11 months ago by msn04061960)
Anybody who thinks we are over there to protect Isreal doesn't know the truth. Our government holds Isreal back from protecting themselves. We should leave everybody alone over there, let them fight it amongst themselves.
I can't stand the ... ( 10 months ago by elee325)
I can't stand the hypocracy of liberals who are supposedly the forerunner for humanity but at the same time criticizing Bush for taking out Saddam who was torturing and murdering people right in the front of their family members. I don't think our forefathers anticipated this type of astrocity when they drafted the constitution so Ron, Judge, and Powers should just rethink their liberal position. Their thinking, truthfully, is putting us and our way of life in danger.
It has nothing to ... ( 10 months ago by Sold1DayAuctions)
It has nothing to do with partisanship, but everything to do with freedom. The blatant hypocrisy for not going after Saudi Arabia who was the real culprit instead of Iraq gives you NO CREDENCE to analyze the problem. The Congo and the Sudan has much worse atrocities against their people, and where is the US?
Don't discard ... ( 10 months ago by elee325)
Don't discard geopolitics. You really think we can attack Saudi Arabia without serious consequences of economic and political turmoil? Unless it was Saudi Government's direct attack against us, I don't think the U.S. is justified in such action. Congo and Sudan issue has been and is continued to being addressed through humanitarian aid and political negotiations. However, the U.S. Govt. has to prioritize its interest. Even the mighty U.S. is limited in its resources and manpower.

We don't attack the Saudis because of money and special interests. Who is doing most of the suicide terrorism? The Saudis. You are the one who made the connection between despots, torture, and the need to over-throw them. I realized they can't really want to spread democracy at the point of a gun while screaming they are fighting a war on terror with open borders. Open your eyes, this is our country.
You need to ... ( 10 months ago by elee325)
You need to acknowledge the fact that while many of the terrorists are Saudis, the Saudi govt. does not sponsor terrorism. Geopolitics is not always black and white but a very complicated one. That being said, our foreign policy is designed to serve the interest of you, me, and other Americans. That's the reality. You really need to stop being so critical of this country.

"foreign policy is designed to serve the interest of you, me, and other Americans" that is a seriously naive statement.
Being critical of ... ( 10 months ago by Sold1DayAuctions)
Being critical of one party's current administration is not being critical of the country. I'm aware of the supposed facts, but you cannot say that Iraq was sponsoring terrorism. There was little to no Al Queda in Iraq previous to our invasion, now there are tons. We are doing Al Queda's work and you don't realize it. We are bankrupt and don't understand the problem. You are being critical of the Constitution.
Legitimate ... ( 10 months ago by elee325)
Legitimate criticism is well justified. I recommend you do some more research as to what precipitated the Iraq war, i.e., as it relates to U.N Resolutions, WMD issues, its relationship with worldwide terrorism, etc..Also, it is hard to quantify negative results. Meaning, its better to keep the terrorists busy over there, no? We chose the battle ground on our terms. It's called being proactive..just my 2cents.
My friend, please ... ( 10 months ago by 323157)
My friend, please do not recommend others to 'do some more research'. I have studied this situation for years and the most simple point that needs to be made, which you seem ignorant of, is what gives these people the motivation to attack America? I will give u a clue, if Russia bombed your home town for ten years and killed all your family and friends, wud u feel justified attacking them back?
