the opening hook to this promo was that car doors use the same basic design as they originally did when they were first made. it's worth mentioning that the reason behind it is beause it works and it's cheap! imagine the cost of a car with transforming disappearing doors vs one with basic hinges and a latch. why are people so hung up on making things more elaborate when the benefits are small and the cost is so much greater?
