Although I like the song, I find the irony in the lyrics to be ridiculous. They are saying they don't like men with no money, and calling them scrubs, but women who think like this must have no money of their own, otherwise why should they want only a rich man. So those sort of women are in fact scrubs...

NO,a scrubs is a guy that's broke and is content with it.a sort of leech cause he knows his boys and momma wont put him out on his careless ass.TLC arent clowning a guy whos been dealt a few bad hands and is trying to get on his feet.the guy who is dealt the bad hand isnt checking 4 chicks anyway hes getting his self str8 before he can try to bring another person on board his ship.note the line always talkin bout what he wants but sits on his broke ass.not a go getter.
