This is absolutely my favorite from Ian and Jethro Tull. This is music that shape my music taste. Music I was waiting to hear on the Polish radio in the seventies. Awesome and powerful, deep and structure, just beautiful.

Mine too, dude - and I was born in '58! They've diversified into every possible genre from their blues roots. Listen to "Stormy Monday Blues" - real early Tull - a long cry from Eva Cassidy (though she rocked too!!)

Songs from the wood. The first album I purchased with my own money. I was 13 years old. Still one of my all time favorites by any band and I have heard a lot of bands. I gave a copy this cd to my 10 year old son a few years back. I took him to see Tull in Denver in 2005. He loved it as did I. This bands music will continue to stand the test of time.

I've seen Tull 3 times...I was born in '59.
Tull has always been my all time favorite band. The perfect blend of hard rock and rennaisance melodies from merry old England...I walked into a restroom at UCLA once, and there, written on the wall was, "Jethro Tull is the rock music of science majors", or something to that effect. The clear message was that Jethro Tull is intelligent Rock, and I am proud to say that I get it.

I saw Jethro Tull on 13 October 1978 at the Montreal Forum, just before I left Canada for peacekeeping duties in Egypt. 19 years later I saw Jethro Tull on 24 October 1997 at the Walker Theater in Winnipeg. The Montreal Forum concert was a blast.
