i hear its easier to chop and edit samples on a PC and load them to the MPC. Any one know of a good program for the PC that strictly chops and edits samples as wav files? im thinking of picking up the mpc 500.

I never did and never will care about HOW a beat is done nor the tricks and different techniques. All I care about is good music. How I use an MPC could be considered "simple" and that doesn't bother me ONE BIT lol. As long as I can make music that people can feel... and most importantly.. ARTISTS CAN DO SONGS TO. Fuck who's "better" than who. Bottomline is... this cat was displaying HIS skill on the MPC, and is AMAZING at it! MUCH RESPECT! Now leave Boonie (me) out of this, lol.

And I gotta say.. This is the problem with our generation. Ya'll can't appreciate talent and good music without comparing everyone like bored scientists. I KNOW my elders weren't saying junk like "Stevie Wonder is waaaay better than Ray Charles"... "Billie Holiday can't touch Nina Simone".. or "Curtis Mayfield is a way better composer than Isaac Hayes." NOPE!!! They just appreciated it ALL, as long as it was good music from the heart. Both you are dope as hell. You SHOULD have some sort of sponsership. People hear a sick track on your vid, and they want to know what you used to make it,... MPC. Akai should be glad you put your shit up on youtube. It's like Q-bert and Vestax, You hear one name and you automaticly think of the other.
