This film is copied from another film "The Phantom Stalker" originally produced by FresnoState filmmaker Robert Thissen back in 2000. Stricken has the same character name "Sarah", same black hooded phantom, same knife and same sound effect "Saaarrrah!" And both films were produced from Fresno! Did the writers of Stricken have such a lack of ideas that they used copyrighted material that was produced by another filmmaker 7 years before their film? I think Matt Sconce should be ashamed of himself.

I have never seen the film you described in the personal attack on me. I value my integrity and in no way copied anything as it is unethical to do so. No one owns a copyright for "Creepy Slasher Knife, girls named Sarah, or people in Black Cloaks" Otherwise the horror market would be severely diminished. Before jumping to conclusions and attacking someone's character, you should find out if you are right or not. If my film bears a resemblance to another it was unintentional. -Matt Sconce
