oh, this is just painful for a smiths fan to hear. Mark Ronson is an evil, evil man. Also- how the hell does employing some idiot to sing the song for him and throwing in a few trumpets where they aren't wanted give him the right to claim he is the artist behind the song?

the song really isnt that bad. and anyway, its a cover and therefore the cover artist is the 'artist' of the song. he produced it and put the song together for HIS album. he doesnt sing on anything but his songs are a result of his mixing and compilations. therefore he's the artist. i doubt that the guy who sings in this is angry he isn't considered the 'artist.'

i would respect ronson if he wrote his own original stuff in addition to his covers. Its not hard to make a song sound better if you get top session players to rerecord it. Stuart Zenders bass playing deserves alot of credit in the ronson stuff. ronson is essentially an egotistical middleman
