| There's nothing that original anymore that we can say, definatively, that someone "owns" the thought. Mencia, I'm sure, saw the Cosby HBO Special and retained that joke from childhood. He reworked it, modernized it and made it his own. It's formulaic. It happens in TV, movies, music, comedy, magic, dance and any other form of communication and art you can imagine. Even this opinion has been stated one way or another to communicate the same idea. Unless it's word for word, get over it. |
