There is nothing dumb about this but you: Some people didn't have choices in that matter. What if someone rapes you and happen to have aids? What if you happen to be taken care of in a hospital were the blood is contaminated (it happens just a few years ago in the most prestigious hospital in Paris). What if you go out with a girl you didn't know has AIDS? I could go on and on, but you should do your own research.
