When I was a kid I'd watch the whole show just to see him with his band at the end. I always thought this was his best song. In the early 80's I used to do solo gig at restaurants and stuff and I played this song. People loved it.

Rick Nelson is still missed! I remember stealing this 45 of "Travelin Man" from my sister and playing it over and over until I had all of the words....then I sang it for a Homeday Celebration. He was a fresher Elvis in the late 50's/60's...I guess Ozzie knew how to manage that young man!
