eirs The Chart Show played in full. A few weeks later the Happy Mondays would also enter the indie chart and be played in full with Stinkin Thinkin, which was also something of a last gasp.

Well done for posting these two great songs especially It's Not What You Know. I still got Pigeonhole on CD but some scumbag nicked Exit Body Mind but I just found a copy via Amazon and found this nostalgia. John Peel's favourite band name.
If only the Indie top ten was as good these days.

They often did this when there was no video available, and always slowed it down so there might be a chance that the vocals from the other song synched up for a second or two!
Even funnier was the dance chart, when it was largely made up of stills of the bands, maybe with some technicolour effect added...

This chart was actually created by phoning up indie record shops and taking their staff's word for the number of copies they'd sold in the previous week. I was one the staff who had to relay our shops figures...over time I'd get more and more extravagant with the numbers...I loved the New FADS!

I haven't heard that New Fast Automatic Daffodils song in AGES, I absolutlely loved it and was gutted when the tape I'd recorded it on got damaged, so nice to hear it again!
