Video Description:
The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo on the Gong Show. This was seen originally in 1976. This had been sitting on my shelf for years. I figured all old time Boingo fans may enjoy this. I still have about 25 stubs from all the Boingo concerts I saw, and never missed the annual Halloween show. It appears the guy with the rocket is Danny's brother Richard, and Danny is playing the Trombone. Thanks Oingo Boingo for all the years of great music, there was nothing like it! M.C.

Ah, never mind, I've found Steve (with help from Despina! lol). The only two guys tall enough to be Steve are the sax and clarinet players and Sluggo is obviously on the sax, thus Steve is on clarinet. Now if only I could figure out which one is Leon...

Oh, that would so suck...But I don't think so. A requirement to be a Mystic Knight was to be able to play multiple instruments and I don't think they would have stuck an instrument player in a costume where he wouldn't be able to play anything. Supposedly Johnny Vatos was a Mystic Knight, too, so I'm trying to find him as well as Leon now.

These days, I bet Danny Elfman is earning a lot more than $516.32. And I sure wouldn't mind some "Oingo Boingo" with the accordian player! (Yes, I know this was nearly 30 years ago, and she probably doesn't look like that now, but you know what I'm saying!)
