I like this song alot, but I must say I didn't like the canon in this version, especially in the first verse. I'd have prefered Judy limited her part to the backing vocals of the studio version.

I first hard this song in the evening on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, feeling lonely. Met a beautiful nurse form the Vietnam war the next day at the picture of the Annunciation, a masterpiece that lifted sexual love up to spiritual love. This spiritual/erotic strain of Catholic mysticism is also found in the Jewish Kabbalah. This broken world gets fixed a little bit when souls connect and become one and this temporary union is always something that can happen in sex.
