"This song is about a man confessing his sins, but also asking for help. The person who died, Tony, was an important member of Monsieur Clavier's gang, and the guy confessing seems to have had responsibility for Tony's wellbeing. He tried to stop him from playing the Russian roulette. Now that he failed, he is afraid for his own life. The priest tells him to find Tony's look-a-like, he can pay him with the church's money. Then he has to go into hiding."
