I'm an Architect and I tell you that brushing in the toilet is bad unless your Toilet has an exhaust fan.When you are toothbrushing & somebody is taking a shower that's when the mist is formed.Your toothbrush will be contaminated by the bad air inside the toilet if somebody has just finished poopooing.That's why an exhaust fan is very important.Medecine cabinet should not be put inside the toilet too.That's why I design toilets w/ the sink separated from bowl & shower.
