hey unique - some people prefer to rinse, but the mixture is actually mostly water so I find I dont need to rinse. If you have senstive skin, you can definitely rinse it if you prefer.

hey Jaimes - if its a new brush, definitely give it a good deep-cleaning first using shampoo and warm water. You want to get rid of the starchy coating the apply in the bristles for storage. I have a video on this if that helps. You'll find that the bristles will look better.

yeah, most brushe when initially drying does that. Once dry its better as long as you shape the bristles while wet, then just fluff it up when it dries completely.

I personally don't as I find the cleanser to be mostly water. Others prefer to give it a rinse.

hey gchata - well, it can get expensive if you use those, but they work. The only thing is it doesnt have hair conditioners that will condition the bristles and sanitizer.

yeah Im not BIG on using those pads as they are playground for bacterias, much like sponges. They are washable, so you can either hand wash it or throw in the washign machine. As far as the eyeshadow ones - No, they fall apart, so those you will have to throw away -- really look into using brushes.

I personally do - yes every use.

I avoid blowderying them - it will cause static in the bristles much like hairdrying your head hair, and static will prevent the bristles from picking up powders, and it will also be harder to blend as the bristles retracts the products.

Thanks for sharing. I am so new to this. I knew you had to wash your brushes but I didn't know that it had to be so often, but it makes sense. Thanks for such detail. Also do you use any brush cleaner, or MAc etc? I know that you use palmolive for the deep cleaning, but could you use a target store brush cleaner? Also do the brush cleaners expire? Thanks so much

hey frog - yes you can use any brush cleanser intended for makeup brushes. MAC brush cleanser are good for a year, but people finish it off within a few months. My homemade version, I go by the expiry date of the water used.
