1 I had to lay on the couch in the kitchen after dinner, I was not used a midday sleep. I was used my sisters and brothers, and this ticking clock remembered me deeply, how far I was. The clock was ticking like that in your film. Anneliese was washing dishes and cleaning the floor. I couldn't sleep. Why was I brought there, where we once lived in that first years after worldwar 2nd?

ück. She wanted children and in that few days I was with her, she took me for one. Lateron her grandchild Katrin appeared far away from that village in Frankfurt am Main just in that class, where my youngest daughter began her schoollife. Strange. That we got the knowledge! That we found out! I ne
ver had seen Anneliese since these early years! I knew nothing about her life.

3. Then one day she herself,the grandmother visited daughter and grandchild in Frankfurt am Main and accompanied both even in the school and we met. It was not difficult to recognize her. The clock was missing. And - as I was told lateron by my parents - her often repeated questions: Do you love me more than anybody else? were missing too.
