the movie is a total ripoff from spanish movie REC*...it wasnt scary,most of the time every single person in the cinema was laughing their asses off (including me)...Spanish version was scary and a lot cooler

the remake is WAAAAY better. how is this a rip off of 28 days later? this guys an idiot. the camera makes it much more real. also they needed it for the flashlight. resident evilex01 is right. the fireman DID make noise, he yelled before he hit.

At least it is a film crew of yo know what i'm saying. Some crews are brave mo fos and would risk their life to keep filming. But Cloverfield was just some guy with infinite battery power and he was recording while walking over one building that was knocked into another building. That was shit

I'm glad that I didn't see the movie Quarantine at all. Cloverfield I found pretty cool though. Now I don't mind a jittery camera, but at times it can be a pain in the neck depending on how it's used. I have to say though I believe that most critics who review movies don't even know what they are talking about. Heck, there are some movies out there that win Oscars and they aren't that great as well. From what you have said in this review, the characters seem to be pretty much dumb.

well, there are exceptions for the camquarter-style veiw... one episode of that new sci-fi show 'sanctuary' was that style, and they made it work XD
